d’apres George Brecht

In 1963, George Brecht published a collection of event scores, which appeared in the form of 101 printed cards in a cardboard box under the title “WATER-YAM”. Forty years on, the “events” suggested therein are still so significant, inspiring and momentous that 16 of them are performed or re-enacted. For George Maciunas, the Fluxus chief organizer, George Brecht's events formed a core part of the intentions of Fluxus.
