Electronic music in motion without getting lost in ‘dansant techno’ is the game that the two musicians Pascal Contet and DJ RO3 (pronounced ROM) have embarked on. They create a musical space of experience along the boundaries of contemporary electronics and operate between the modes of complex-artistic-educational-danceable-entertaining.
Pascal Contet has not only opened up a new repertoire for the accordion, he also breaks through the boundaries of individual artistic genres with his playing, thus gaining access to improvised, theatrical music. On this path, he meets DJRO3 (Romuald Tual), who seduces his listeners with the synthetic sound ballads of the pioneers of electronic and electro-acoustic music, following the paths of Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, François Bayle, Bernard Parmegiani or Brian Eno and reflecting them in his own dance-influenced visuals.
