SPHOTA

Épisode résonant stands for the exploration of the dialogue between music and image. The protagonists of SPHOTA move on different levels - from the vocal synchronisation to the raw, brutal soundscape to the pure ‘film music’. This creates a kind of surrealistic and complicit scenario between the projected image and the instrumentalists.

The omnipresent video image alternates between image sequences filmed directly on stage and those recorded by the musicians, which they stage through four ‘stories’.
