The particular modes of expression in Rock culture go beyond customary ways of musical expression. From the poetry of Henri Michaux, written under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs which inspired Fausto Romitelli’s composition Professor Bad Trip, to the sado-masochistic book The Velvet Underground by Michael Leigh after which Lou Reed’s legendary rock band was named − in the most creative period of the 20th century there existed many artistic creeds that touched or intersected. Famous rock icons also inspired the pieces that were recently written on commission of Casa da Música.
