Students in a Concert

Within the framework of the MaerzMusik festival for contemporary music, pupils from Berlin will not only have the opportunity to attend selected events but also to actively shape them.

Two groups of pupils will over several weeks devote themselves to composers, musicians and of course contemporary music, take part in discussions, gather experience in meetings with the artists, attend rehearsals and view a great variety of material. Motivated and inspired by the attendance of MaerzMusik productions they will become committed pupil experts who will then impart to interested listeners, and in particular to other pupils visiting the festival, the insights and perspectives they have gained during their work. Two lively and vivid own productions developed by these pupil experts will precede the respective events and surely stir a lot of interest, not only among other pupils.
