The Treffen junge Musikszene 2025 presented a rather young line-up of surprisingly mature, accomplished and experimental musicians, including numerous strong female artists. The concerts at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele are available as recordings in the media library until November 2026.

Every year we invite previous participants Treffen junge Musikszene meeting for Nahaufnahme. The Nahaufnahme 2024 starts where the musicians are in their development, tries to respond to individual needs and helps to formulate musical-artistic goals and explore ways to get there. New songs are created or musical projects that have already begun are further developed.&nbsp;

The Campus programme is exclusively for the participants of the Treffen junge Musikszene and not open to the public. It consists of the sections Workshops and Coachings.The programme is only available in German.

Campus 2024

A total of 13 musical acts — including four bands, two duos and seven solo performers — will come to Berlin from 19 to 24 November as award winners of the 42nd Treffen junge Musikszene. A day later, they will be joined by 21 other talented young people who have been selected by the jury as award winners of the 40th Treffen junger Autor*innen.From 20 to 23 November, the Haus der Berliner Festspiele will host concerts, readings, talks and performances by the prize-winning authors and musicians, open to the public. In addition, a variety of workshops and coaching sessions will provide safe spaces where the young artists can meet, inspire one another and, with professional support from experienced workshop leaders, be encouraged to further develop their personal artistic expression.

The Treffen junge Musikszene offers young musicians a platform to present their self-written, lyricized or self-produced music. In addition to public concerts, the Treffen creates a creative space in which the prize-winners can further develop their musical signature in intensive workshops, receive tips and knowledge from professionals for their work, and get to know each other, exchange ideas and jam together.

A highlight of the Treffen junge Musik-Szene is the public concert of the award winners. Due to the Corona pandemic, it was not possible for the twelve acts selected by the jury to present their work live in front of an audience in 2021. Instead, the young musicians had the opportunity to record their selected songs in professional studio sessions.

The Berliner Festspiele organise a range of festivals and art exhibitions, concerts, dance and theatre performances, readings, lectures, debates and much more throughout the year. These events are presented at a range of locations across Berlin but are concentrated primarily at their own two venues: the Gropius Bau and the Haus der Berliner Festspiele.

The four meetings

Young theatre makers, dancers, musicians and authors are given a platform for their creative work at the four national contests of the Treffen junge Szene and are specifically supported in their artistic development.

For some former prizewinners, the Treffen junge Musik-Szene was the first step on the ladder to an artistic career. This was the case for singer-songwriter Philipp Poisel from Stuttgart, the chansonniers and pianists Sebastian Kr&auml;mer and Bodo Wartke, the Bavarian singer Claudia Koreck, the north German band Vierkanttretlager, the singer and Voice of Germany finalist Eva Croissant, the Popstar Akademie scholarship holders from the duo Kleinstadtpoeten, and so on.

Due to the overwhelming public interest, the duration of Marina Abramović: Balkan Erotic Epic. The Exhibition has been extended by one week until 30&nbsp;August 2026. The extended opening hours until 20:00 will remain in place until the end of the exhibition.Due to the anticipated high demand, an additional performance of Marina Abramović: Balkan Erotic Epic. The Stage Version has been scheduled for 13&nbsp;October as part of the Performing Arts Season at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. Advance ticket sales for all performances from 13&nbsp;to&nbsp;17&nbsp;October will begin on 18&nbsp;June at&nbsp;14.00.
