Concert | Visiting Orchestras
The young German composer Matthias Pintscher took fragments from Stéphane Mallarmé’s “Hérodiade” and turned it into a work scored for a soprano and orchestra. The voice is seamlessly woven into the piece as if it were the orchestra’s finest instrument.
