Leaning back, bouncing, falling, touching, stretching, nestling, sinking in, unfolding, lounging, refueling. // Eight young people, a sofa, lots of space for contact and for wilful attempts at leaning back and lifting off. // Beautiful and strange relationships emerge between body and body, between body and ground, body and sofa, body and space.
“Von der Schönheit und Seltsamkeit des Anlehnens” is the ACADEMY production house’s first dance piece. It was created out of the actors’ movement material, improvised and agreed upon, comfortably and uncomfortably, emotionally and individually.
