Daniela Lunelli aka Munsha is an Italian musician, composer and music teacher based in Berlin. She completed her academic training in singing, multimedia composition and cello in Salerno, Rome and Milan. She specialises in live performances, compositions and productions with a focus on contemporary, experimental and avant-garde music. Munsha combines academic and transcultural sounds with pop and creates a wide range of electronic music, noise and drone sounds as well as songwriting and soundtracks. She also works in theatre, installation, video art and multimedia and has written music for film, television and interdisciplinary projects. Over the years, she has performed on numerous stages as a soloist and as a member of ensembles. Her many years of involvement with experimental vocal techniques and musical research are reflected in the independent improvisation and modern composition scene. She has been active as a teacher since 2001, particularly in the field of singing. In her teaching activities, she is dedicated to researching the vocal tract and the practical application of resonating bodies using the cross-over technique - both in musical and theatrical contexts.
