Armin Chodzinski
Armin Chodzinski, born in 1970, studied visual arts, worked in management and consultancy and obtained a doctorate in anthropogeography. He is a researching artist, using the manifold devices, tools and methods of art to investigate general and specific questions. For quite a while, he worked on the relationship between art and economy which, as he says, distils itself in the urban sphere. He is basically examining the newly formed states of being organised manifested in individuals, collectives, groups and societies from various perspectives, marking loss, longing and hopes in varying contexts. His performance lectures, talks, exhibitions, teaching positions, radio plays and publications are based on the method of self-experiment, which he talks about in a rather didactic way.
