Natalie Raybould
British soprano Natalie Raybould studied at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, and the Royal Academy of Music, London, and was awarded an Associateship of the RAM in 2011 for her contribution to contemporary music. Natalie has worked with Opera North, ROH2, Welsh National Opera, The Opera Group, The Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, The Old Vic, Aldeburgh Productions and others in developing new operas, concert works, music theatre and plays. Recent credits include Cousin Shelley (cover) for both premiere and revival of “Anna Nicole” (Mark-Anthony Turnage) for the Royal Opera House London, “Song Recital” (Pierre-Yves Macé) for Festival d’Automne à Paris, “Harawi” (Messian) for London Philharmonia, and Crispina Philomena Crackweasel/Goosey John in “Dr. Quimpugh’s Casebook of Peculiar Afflictions” (Mart in Ward/Phil Porter) for Summerhall, Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Natalie has also recently devised, composed, and performed “Lullaby” (an interactive music theatre piece for babies) for Polka Theatre, which toured to the Belfast Children's Festival in February 2015. Future projects include the revival of “Amy's Last Dive” (Cheryl Frances-Hoad) with Hull Truck for the Amy Johnson Festival 2016, and “A Month of Autistic Bedtimes” for Opera North.
