Steph Scholten

Steph Scholten (Amsterdam, 1961) is an art historian who has worked in the field art, museum and cultural heritage since 1988. Since 2009, he works as director of heritage collections at the University of Amsterdam. In this capacity he is responsible for the conservation and presentation of one of the largest historical collections in The Netherlands. It contains about 2 million books and objects on 30 kilometers of shelves from the ancient past to the present day on almost any subject imaginable.
