Deniz Bolat

Deniz Bolat works at the interface of dramaturgy, curatorial practice and visual conception. During his studies in Hildesheim, Deniz Bolat worked as an editorial assistant for BELLA triste, a magazine for young contemporary literature, and has been dramaturgically active for the Ruhrtriennale, Festival der Künste since 2023. In addition to his permanent engagement, Deniz Bolat develops set designs for films together with Merve Çelikyurt, currently together for the Academy of Media Arts Cologne with a focus on “Narratives of violence and their transfer into aesthetic contexts”.
