Tom Engels

Tom Engels (BE) works as a writer, editor, programmer and dramaturge. He is the director of Sarma, a Brussels-based laboratory for discursive practices and expanded publication. Together with Bojana Cvejić, he initiated and conceived the research cluster “Time and Rhythm” for the Research Studios at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels). Engels is also a lecturer at the School of Arts in Ghent. He holds degrees in Art Science (Department of Art, Music and Theatre Sciences, Ghent University, BE) and in Choreography and Performance (Institute for Applied Theatre Studies, Gießen, DE).
