Josefine Berkholz
Josefine Berkholz, born 1994 in Durham, North Carolina, writes poetry, performance and essay writing. From 2013 to 2017, she studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and, since 2018, philosophy and social sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
She has been active internationally as a spoken word performer since 2010 and has performed for ZDF Kultur, Arte and MDR, among others. As an author, she prefers to work in collective contexts, often across art and state boundaries. From November 2021, she will be responsible for and host the podcast “Stoff aus Luft – Magazin für gesprochene Literatur” together with Tanasgol Sabbagh.
