Miu Dehnel studies literature and English in Berlin and writes stories about people who are still searching for their place in the world. Her texts focus on rebellious characters, surreal figures, and perspectives shaped by social upheaval and injustice.
She is currently working on a novel about two people who meet by chance on a train and spontaneously go on a journey together. A close bond develops between the two, leading them to different places and unusual encounters – including a talking fox.
Miu Dehnel’s stories are set in cities that have shaped her, including Berlin, where she grew up, and Manchester, where she studied for two semesters, as well as in imaginary spaces. When she's not writing, she can be found at the cinema, in cafés, or drawing comics.
