Felix Reinhuber was born in 1990 in Herrenberg and lives as an author in Berlin and Stuttgart. He studied German Studies and English Studies in Berlin, Freiburg im Breisgau, and Durham (UK), supported by the Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst. He was a finalist in the poetry category at the Open Mike in Berlin in both 2020 and 2022. In 2022, he was a Writer-in-Residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, supported by a grant from Atelier Mondial. In 2024, he received the Jahresstipendium für Literatur of the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg. In 2026, he is undertaking a residency as part of a deutsch-französisches Tandem-Stipendium at Künstlerhaus Edenkoben as well as at the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française in Villers-Cotterêts. His texts, especially poetry, have been published in various journals and anthologies, including Sinn und Form (1/2025) and die horen (2023 and 2025). In addition to his literary work, Reinhuber also undertakes commissioned projects for composers. His texts formed the basis for the choral piece arten von seen (2022), set to music by Katrin Klose and premiered at the 11. Bayerischer Chorwettbewerb. Also in 2022, Drei Lieder nach Gedichten von Felix Reinhuber for mezzo-soprano and piano were composed by Márton Illés and premiered at the Kissinger Sommer. Following this initial collaboration on individual poems, von mund zu mund (2026) marks his first larger-scale text, conceived in the manner of a libretto, for Márton Illés.
