Yael Esther Mor

Yael Esther Mor is a performer, writer and video creator. Since moving to Berlin three years ago, she has created performances for theatre, videos and installations. She writes, directs and performs her creations. In addition to writing for theatre, she has published short stories and an audio guide. Over the past year, she has also started guiding participants in her writing workshops. Furthermore, she founded the AFAIK collective alongside the artists Katharina Ruhm and Maidje Meergans. Together, they create video works, installations, and performances. Using curiosity as a starting point, Yael Mor navigates the delicate balance between comedy and drama. Internalizing the world around her, she expresses it in personal, humorous and sometimes provocative ways. Mor investigates human rawness and vulnerability, unapologetically.
