Laura Mello
Laura Mello studied social communication and composition in Brazil as well as electroacoustic composition in Vienna. She works as a composer, performer, teacher and copywriter. In her work, Laura Mello investigates social aspects of hearing in the field of musical composition, with no limitations concerning musical genres or listening habits. Frequently, language is a structuring element. Her work includes instrumental, electroacoustic and inter-medial compositions, sound installations and performances.
