Felicitas Brucker was born in Stuttgart and studied Theatre Studies, Communication Studies and Modern German Literature at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. She then studied directing at Goldsmiths College in London. Her first directing jobs in London were followed by productions at the Münchner Kammerspiele, Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, Theater Freiburg, Schauspiel Hannover and Deutsches Theater Berlin. From 2009 to 2014 she was in-house director at the Schauspielhaus Wien. In recent years, she has regularly directed at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and Schauspiel Frankfurt. Her works have been invited several times to the Mülheimer Theatertage and the Autor:innentheatertage in Berlin. In 2023 she is invited to the Theatertreffen with her production of “Nora” at the Münchner Kammerspiele.
