Camila Malenchini

Camila Malenchini is a Berlin based Argentinean choreographer and interdisciplinary artist. Her practice crosses diverse media; from performance and sculpture to curation. She uses the body as a vehicle for transformation; working with stories, images and metaphors to give forms to the buried and the non-intelligible. Her practice engages with art as a space of encounter, exchange, knowledge and community weaving.
Camila Malenchini’s work has been presented in Berlin and in Buenos Aires in spaces such as Sophiensæle, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, DOCK 11, Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón and Ciudad Cultural Konex. She has been supported by Akademie Der Künste, Fonds Darstellende Künste, Nationales Performance Netz (NPN) and Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt. She has been part of different collective structures and art spaces such as Arqueologias del Futuro, CIA, T.E.N.T., book.xyz, Fortuna and praxis.
