Noé Valdes Vega, originally from Veracruz, Mexico, is a performer, choreographer and artistic researcher. His practice centres on the concept of Corporeal Dramaturgy, through which he develops both solo performance formats and collaborative choreographies.
Currently, Valdes Vega is a candidate in the Künstlerische Meisterklasse programme at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden (PHfT). He also serves as a research collaborator with the doctoral group “WeAreOne – Synergies for Public Health in the Context of the Anthropocene,” based at the University of Göttingen’s Department for Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. Furthermore, he contributes his expertise to projects with Museum Friedland and The Boat People Project in Göttingen.
In 2024, he earned a Master’s degree in Choreography from PHfT, where his research investigated the intersections of movement and the spoken and written word.
His work has been recognised with the DAAD-Preis 2024, the Deutschlandstipendium (2023–2024), and a scholarship from Mexico’s Consejo Nacional de Humanidades, Ciencias y Tecnologías (CONAHCYT). He currently holds a research scholarship from the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism. His professional experience includes collaborations with Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Tanztriennale/Tanzplattform Deutschland and the Planetary Health Alliance, alongside residencies at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium and the Semperoper Ballett Dresden.
