The next Treffen junger Autor*innen will take place from 25 to 30 November 2026. Applications will be possible again from March 2026.
Treffen junger Autor*innen in the Media Library
The reading at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele and other events from Treffen junger Autor*innen are available in the media library until November 2026.
The young authors write about very personal situations and relationships, from issues of social and emotional integration to family histories and everyday observations, to questions about the global situation, politics, the climate, and social or economic injustice.

To the award winnersAbout Treffen junger Autor*innen
The Treffen junger Autor*innen offers young writers a platform on which they can present their texts, thus creating attention for their concerns, topics and points of view. At the same time, the meeting opens up a protected space in which the young artists can meet, inspire each other, and be encouraged to further develop their personal artistic expression through the professional guidance of experienced authors and workshop leaders.
The Treffen junger Autor*innen is part of the Treffen junge Szene of the Berliner Festspiele.
