For its community and outreach programme, Jazzfest Berlin is cooperating with 15 local initiatives from Moabit and students from the Jazz Institute Berlin. Eight neighbourhood concerts at six venues, a Creative Music Workshop led by Anthony Braxton, two workshops for children, decolonial city tours, a seminar and film screenings open the festival to local communities and audiences alike, inviting them to take an active part in the programme.
