Artist Talk

With their current projects, musicians Tomeka Reid, Rob Mazurek and Laura Jurd each open a new chapter in their artistic practice. Drawing on Reid’s acclaimed quartet album dance! skip! hop!, which receives its Berlin debut at this year’s festival, the return of the CHICAGO UNDERGROUND Duo with Hyperglyph, and Jurd’s remarkable new quintet project Rites & Revelations, the artists will join music journalist Peter Margasak and Nadin Deventer, Artistic Director of Jazzfest Berlin, to discuss their most recent musical work.
