Ten years of SdS – the great anniversary show

Am 28. Oktober 2012, 20 Uhr, findet im Haus der Berliner Festspiele anlässlich ihres 10-jährigen Geburtstags die Jubiläums-Show des Scheiterns statt. Wie gewohnt empfängt Moderator Sebastian Orlac drei Gäste, die in einem illustrierten Vortrag mit anschließender Diskussion ihr gescheitertes Projekt vorstellen. Gemeinsam mit dem scharfsinnigen „Experten“ Wiktor Winogradski werden die Projekte auf alle scheiterrelevanten Aspekte hin abgeklopft. Mit 10-jähriger Erfahrung wird aber auch analysiert, inwieweit das Scheitern gesellschaftsfähiger geworden ist, ob sich das Verhältnis zum Verlieren entspannt hat und ob auch in Zeiten der Wirtschaftskrise Scheitern immer noch schön sein kann. Für die musikalische Untermalung sorgt das Mandolinen Show-Orchester Kapaikos mit aufmunternden und melancholischen Melodien.
On 28 October 2012, 20:00, the anniversary show of failure will take place at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele to mark its 10th anniversary. As usual, presenter Sebastian Orlac will welcome three guests who will present their failed project in an illustrated talk followed by a discussion. Together with the astute ‘expert’ Wiktor Winogradski, the projects will be scrutinised for all aspects relevant to failure. With 10 years of experience, they will also analyse the extent to which failure has become more socially acceptable, whether the relationship to losing has relaxed and whether failure can still be beautiful even in times of economic crisis. The Kapaikos mandolin show orchestra will provide the musical backdrop with uplifting and melancholy melodies.
