In a world shaken by crises, the new work by (LA)HORDE is an attempt to create new imaginaries in order to collectively dismantle the inner and social monsters of today. Twelve dancers from the Ballet national de Marseille, which the collective has directed since 2019, embody the contradictory forces of the present moment. Blending hyperrealism, poetry, and the grotesque, Après moi, le déluge extends (LA)HORDE’s exploration of dance as a means of transgressing imposed narratives. The result is a choreography driven by the energy of revolt, like a final explosion to shake the foundations of the old world.
