A family in the Wild West: long ago, the son was cast out and is said to have lived with wolves. Now he returns. During the debate over the “family secret”, an even greater disaster looms … Jesurun’s play with the title of a Western deals with a central topos in American drama: the family as the key image of society. Seventeen years after its premiere at The Kitchen Theatre in New York in 1987, this outstanding example of the visual idiom of pioneer video theatre is being shown again at spielzeiteuropa.
