The Festivalzeitung (festival paper) accompanies the festival events of the Theatertreffen der Jugend and appears daily in the evening.
The editorial team of the Festivalzeitung consists of eleven young artists, most of whom are former participants of the Treffen junger Autor*innen. Their mission is to accompany the festival events. The editors of the FZ will review the productions shown, document the daily life of the festival and reflect on the atmosphere, while also wanting to make the thoughts and impressions of the young award winners heard.
Although the Treffen junge Szene is the publisher of the FZ, the young editors will describe their individual observations and impressions of the festival. Thus, the FZ does not reflect the opinion of the festival management, but the personal perspectives of the authors.
