Alexander Kuen

Alexander Kuen (he/him) studied theatre education at the Berlin University of the Arts and works as a freelance theatre-maker in Berlin. He regularly collaborates with GRIPS Theatre, the Spandau Youth Theatre Workshop, and other children’s and youth theatres. Kuen leads one of the youth clubs at GRIPS Theatre and directs independent theatre productions with children, young people and adults. In recent years, several of his productions have been nominated for the Theatertreffen der Jugend. Alongside his artistic work, he teaches theatre education at vocational colleges for social pedagogy and delivers professional development training for teachers.
