Konrad Renner

Konrad Renner has been Professor of Digital Graphics at the Hochschule für bildende Kunst Hamburg, since 2017, together with Christoph Knoth. Previously, he taught Interface Design at the Berlin University of the Arts, and worked for three years before that for the Master’s Programme Editorial Design of the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle and for two semesters, together with Christoph, at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, where they launched the project “Digital Typography”. Following his participation in Projects Projects in New York, they founded Studio Knoth & Renner in Berlin and Leipzig in 2011. Since then, they have developed projects for the architectural journal Arch+, publishers Spector Books, the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, Werkleitz Halle and Casco Utrecht, the pavilions of New Zealand and Germany at the Venice Art Biennial in 2015 and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Kunstvereine.
