In „Goodbye, Lindita“ (2023), dem zweiten Teil seiner Trilogie, wendet sich Mario Banushi der Trauer und der Bew&auml;ltigung von Verlust zu. Das Publikum erlebt den poetischen Abschied einer Familie, die um die verstorbene Lindita trauert. Ohne jeglichen Dialog begleitet uns die Performance auf einer Reise, die die Frage beleuchtet, wie wir uns mit dem Tod vers&ouml;hnen k&ouml;nnen. What needs to happen to be able to bid a final farewell? How can life go on? What does death mean?

In &ldquo;Goodbye, Lindita&rdquo; (2023), the second part of his trilogy, Mario Banushi examines grief and the process of coping with loss. The audience witnesses the poetic farewell of a family mourning Lindita&rsquo;s passing. Without any dialogue, the performance takes us on a journey that explores how we can come to terms with death. In this visual meditation, Banushi draws on funeral and burial rituals rooted in Balkan traditions &ndash; where every ending becomes a beginning.

The 2024 selection is very diverse and energetic: urban rock, crossover, but also earthy rock and new metal are represented, as well as catchy pop songs, intimate ballads and psychedelic folk songs.

Throughout the year, the Berliner Festspiele organise various festivals and art exhibitions, concerts, dance and theatre performances, readings, lectures, debates and much more. In addition to other venues in Berlin, they primarily use their own two buildings for this purpose: the Gropius Bau and the Haus der Berliner Festspiele.
