Jill Emerson

Jill Emerson is a performer and choreographer, born in the USA. She studied dance at the University of Iowa and in New York City and has lived in Berlin since 2002. She is the founder and artistic director of the Social Muscle Club and a founding member of Constanza Macras / Dorky Park, collaborating for many years at venues such as the Schaubühne, Volksbühne, and Berliner Festspiele. In addition, she has worked as a performer and choreographer with artists including David Marton, She She Pop, Nir de Volff, Antje Pfundtner, Pierre Audi, and Hans Werner Henze.
