Kira Maidenberg-Todorova, born in Odessa in 1985, is a composer and pianist. She has a doctorate in music theory, is associate professor at the A. V. Nezhdanova Odesa National Academy of Music and also a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine. In 2018, she was awarded the Lev Revutsky National Prize and is the recipient of numerous national and international prizes, including the International L. Revutsky Competition (2004), Farbotony (2006), the J. Dorfman Competition (2008), Art XXI century (2011), the Donbas Modern Music Art Festival (Grand Prix, 2013) and CompoGuitar (2022). She was awarded the Regional Prize of Odessa for creative achievements in 2012. Her works have been performed at many international festivals including the Kiev Music Fest, Music Marine Fest, Two Days and two Nights of New Music, FIDAS (Ecuador) and choral festivals in Pardubice, Montreux and Kischinau. She is a regular jury member at musical competitions and director of the international competition Art of Composition and a competition for young piano teachers.
