Vera Schneevoigt

Vera Schneevoigt, born in 1966, served as Chief Digital Officer of the Bosch business sector Building Technologies in Munich until September 2022. Prior to joining the Bosch Group, she was Managing Director responsible for International Product Business at Fujitsu Technology Solutions GmbH in Augsburg. In this role, her focus included the development and introduction of new technologies in the context of advancing digitalisation. She also headed the company’s development and production site in Augsburg. Previously, she was Managing Director at Unify, a company owned by the private‑equity firm The Gores Group (Los Angeles), where she was responsible for procurement, manufacturing sites and logistics.
Vera Schneevoigt advises representatives of the federal and state governments on the impact of digitalisation and care work on the world of work, and places great emphasis on promoting women – particularly in technical and digital professions. In 2018, she was among the winners of the “25 Frauen Award” presented by the business platform EDITION F, and in 2020 she received the Emotion Award in the category “Frauen in Führung”. In October 2023, she was honoured with the “Zukunftsmacherin 2023” award by the business publication Business Insider Deutschland.
After the catastrophic flooding in the Ahr Valley in July 2021, which struck close to her home, she founded the initiative #FlutMut to maintain communication about the people and projects in the region; today, the initiative collaborates with Stiftung Ahrtal.
In September 2022, Vera Schneevoigt left the Bosch Group, concluding her 38‑year corporate career to devote herself, together with her husband, to caring for and supporting their parents and parents‑in‑law in Rhineland‑Palatinate. She has continued her engagement in the fields of technology, digitalisation, intergenerational dialogue – particularly regarding care work – as well as the promotion of women in start‑ups, technology and diversity, the support of refugees, and her advisory and supervisory board mandates. Through keynote talks, workshops and panel discussions, she aims to further raise awareness of these issues.
Since the winter semester of 2023, she has been a guest lecturer in HR Management and New Work within the Master’s programmes Games & XR Management, Creative Direction and Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the Fachhochschule Dresden.
As a consultant, she supports various women‑led start‑ups, particularly in the technology and deep‑tech sectors. She is also active as an investor and mentor within the network encourageventures e.V.
Since early 2024, she and her husband Thomas have jointly run Guiding for Future GmbH, a company specialising in business consulting and coaching, with a focus on transformation grounded in empathy and resilience. The company supports organisations and individuals (leaders and employees), particularly in times of crisis and major change, and is backed by a broad network of experts.
In September 2024, her first book, Wir können Zukunft, co‑authored with journalist Vera Hermes, was published by Haufe Verlag. Following the Ahr Valley flood in July 2021, she co‑founded the social‑media communication channel #FlutMut and continues to work with Stiftung Ahrtal as part of its circle of supporters.
She lives in the Eifel with her husband Thomas and their dog Etro. Their two foster sons, Ahmad and Mohamad, have remained in Bavaria or returned to Syria.
