Vincent August

Vincent August teaches Sociology and Political Sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin and heads the Gerda Henkel Foundation research group ‘Ecological Conflicts’. He has conducted research at numerous prestigious international institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Erfurt and the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). He has published articles on conflict and consensus in democracies, ecological transformation and guiding social principles such as transparency, flexibility and resilience.
