Dramaturgin

Anna-Katharina Müller grew up in Magdeburg and studied theatre at Southeast Missouri State University (USA), theatre studies at Leipzig University, and dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg. Until 2019, she first worked as a dramaturgy assistant and later as a dramaturg at Schauspiel Hannover under the artistic directorship of Lars-Ole Walburg. She subsequently joined the Theatertreffen of the Berliner Festspiele as a dramaturg, where she headed the Stückemarkt until 2022. Her freelance dramaturgical work includes collaborations with the Athens & Epidaurus Festival. In 2025, she taught for the first time at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg. Since 2023, Anna-Katharina Müller has been working as an editor at Suhrkamp Theater Verlag. In 2025 and 2026, she returned to Theatertreffen to provide dramaturgical support for the New Drama focus. She has been a member of the Council for the Arts Berlin and served on the jury for the 2023 Theaterpreis des Bundes.
