Nalan

As Nalan, the musician, producer, and DJ Nalan Karacagil produces trip-hop and melancholy soul. Nalan’s first self-published EP ‘ugly’ was released in 2018 still under the pseudonym slimgirl fat. She now reserves this stage name for her work as a DJ. The Berlin-based Nalan Karacagil first attracted attention as part of the group gadaffi gals, in which, together with blaqtea alias ebow and walter p99 arke$tra, she produced a slowed-down, fragmentary, and rap-influenced, version of r’n’b. So far, the group has released the album ‘Temple’, an EP, and two singles.
