Christoph Honegger

Screenwriter since 1989, initially as a career changer with the writing team “M.A.C.Guffin Concepts”, working on sketches and sitcoms right through to TV series. Later, working both independently and in various teams, he wrote screenplays for ARD, ZDF, RTL, Sat 1, etc.

Has been working for the up-and-coming International Film Festival for ten years: there, among other things, co-initiator of the German Young Screenwriters’ Award – now in its fifth year – and numerous screenwriting programmes for young talent (e.g. “6 Miles”, “Treffpunkt Drehbuch”, “Ideen-Check”, “Kleine Drehbuchschule” etc.).

For many years, workshop leader for “Taschengeldkino” (now: “Film Education in the Digital World”), in which teachers become “film teachers”.

Dramaturg for short and feature film scripts, writer for cabaret programmes, advertising and promotional films, and a member of various juries.
