It also encompasses decades when memory and the anticipation of life periods are concerned. His studies on different temporal-processing mechanisms employ psychophysical experiments, time perception inventories and functional MRI. In particular, he investigates the effects of different durations, age, psychopharmacological treatment, chronic drug abuse and brain injury on the experience of time.
