Dean Blunt (DJ set)

Dean Blunt is part of the English production team Hype Williams which recently published the album “Black Is Beautiful” (Hyperdub). He also appeared under the name “The Narcissist II”.

In the ’90’s if you didn’t have baby hair, you weren’t doing much. Black folk across the country spent countless hours in the mirror, using a toothbrush and gel to shape the perfect swirl around their edges. Slick and sleek was the look and no one was trying to be caught with frizzy edges.
