The Jury for the 2026 Theatertreffen
The Theatertreffen-jury chooses the 10 most remarkable productions of the theatre season and consists of seven theatre critics. These jurors are usually serving three years in succession. The jury is appointed jointly by the director of the Theatertreffen, the director of the Berliner Festspiele and the German Federal Cultural Foundation.

As part of the regular rotation, the critics Sabine Leucht, Martin Thomas Pesl and Sascha Westphal will leave the Theatertreffen-jury. In their place, critics Jakob Hayner, Yaël Koutouan and Silvia Stammen have been appointed.
