Speaking with Objects

Objects on stage are brought to life by the audience’s expectations and by their relationships with the performers. In fact, they may be more alive than the performers themselves, who are desperately trying to become real. We could benefit from studying objects, because they are always precisely what they are. Let’s try to have a serious conversation with them. It’s so much fun.
