Ukrainian playwrights tell about life during the invasion by Russia

Ukrainian and German actors read texts, written by members of the Theatre of Playwrights (Kyiv). In the form of diaries and fictional texts, the playwrights are reflecting life in times of war.
The series was initiated by the playwright Anastasiia Kosodiі, who was a fellow of Theatertreffen’s International Forum in 2019 and has been dealing with the violence in Ukraine for years. After first readings at Maxim Gorki Theater and Münchner Kammerspiele, new texts are now being presented, which were written after the large-scale Russian invasion.
