Sofie Krogh Christensen is Associate Curator at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin since September 2023 and since then curated Schering Stiftung Award for Artistic Research 2022: Kameelah Janan Rasheed – in the coherence, we weep (2023–2024) and the BPA// Berlin Program for Artists Exhibition 2023 (2023–2024) Amid the Alien Corn. Under her preceding title as Assistant Curator and Project Manager at KW, her curatorial projects included Kazuko Miyamoto – String Constructions (2025), Enrico David – Destroyed Men Come and Go (2023), Hervé Guibert – This and More (2023), Martin Wong – Malicious Mischief (2023), Christopher Kulendran Thomas – Another World (2022), Rabih Mroué – Under the Carpet (2022), and Renée Green – Inevitable Distances (2021). She is the curator of Pause: Lydia Ourahmane – sync (2022).
In addition to her accomplishments at KW, the Berlin-based writer and curator has held positions as curator-in-residence at the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), New York, Press and Publication Manager at Studio Elmgreen & Dragset, as well as Assistant Curator of the 15th Istanbul Biennial: a good neighbour (2017). She has written for and edited several art publications, most recently Kameelah Janan Rasheed – in the coherence, we weep (2023), Martin Wong: Malicious Mischief (2022), Rabih Mroué: Interviews (2022), KW, a history (2021) and The Mail Art Archive of Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt and Robert Rehfeldt (2018). Her own writing is also published in Frieze, among others.
