Ustina Dubitsky’s musical talent was evident from an early age. She made her first stage appearance as a member of the children's choir of the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, while also undergoing intensive violin training. As concertmaster in various youth orchestras, Ustina developed her leadership qualities, particularly under renowned conductors such as Mariss Jansons.
In recent seasons, Ustina has conducted a variety of ensembles, including the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, Orchestre de Paris, Ensemble Modern, Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss, Orchestre national Avignon Provence, Orchestre national de Cannes, Orchestre Victor Hugo Franche-Comté, Paris Mozart Orchestra, Orchestre de Picardie, Dresdner Philharmonie, Bochumer Symphoniker, Orchestre national de Metz, Les Siècles, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Odense Philharmonic, Ensemble Reflektor, and Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Ustina undertook a successful international tour to Paris, Antwerp, Geneva, Bern, and Zurich with cellist Xavier Phillips and the orchestra Les Siècles, performing a program of French music.

For the 2025/26 season, Ustina conducts the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Lyon Opera Orchestra, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Orchestre de chambre de Paris, Münchner Symphoniker, Orchestre National Avignon-Provence, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, SWR Symphonieorchester, among other prestigious ensembles. She also returns to conduct Les Siècles and Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, recording with Cyrille Dubois. Ustina will make her debut at the Opernhaus Zürich, conducting a new production of Gianni Schicchi. After participating in the 57th International Conducting Competition in Besançon, Ustina served as assistant conductor at the Orchestre Victor Hugo Franche-Comté from January 2022 to July 2023, and at the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln from 2022 to 2024. In March 2022, she won the Orchestra Prize and was awarded a two-year fellowship at the Academy La Maestra. In 2022, Ustina assisted Maestro Roth in a new production of Lohengrin at the Bayerische Staatsoper, as well as in The Magic Flute at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées with Les Siècles. In April 2024, Ustina made her debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper with a new production of the double bill Lucrezia / Der MondUstina began her conducting training in Weimar after completing her music school studies. She further honed her skills through masterclasses with Peter Eötvös, David Zinman, and Paavo Järvi, among others. In 2021, she completed her Master’s degree with Prof. Johannes Schlaefli in Zurich.
