Games are evolving to a key medium beyond the entertainment industry. Game mechanics are entering all aspects of society from business to politics, urban space to education. Ranging from interactive traffic lights and video games in plays to the “gamification” of companies.
This conference is a space for interactive discourse, facilitating a direct experience of the wide range, richness and potential games have to offer.
We have invited game designers, scientists, players and creatives to showcase their work and projects practically. Our participants include Christian Huberts (GA Hochschule), Franka Futterlieb (urbn pockets), Philip Steimel (Machina eX) and Christoph Brosius (Die Hobrechts GmbH), as well as representatives of Berliner Festspiele, BIU e.V. and GAME Bundesverband e.V.
