During this interactive Walk-Through, participants will learn how to find spiders/webs that share our urban ecosystems in the parking lot of the Gropius Bau and gain insight into the fascinating vibrational world of invertebrates.

Roland Mühlethaler is an expert in vibrational communication of insects and spiders. He is working as researcher for NABU (The Nature And Biodiversity Conservation Union), Germany's oldest and largest environmental association, and has contributed his research to the interdisciplinary research platform Arachnophilia, an interdisciplinary, distributed and intercultural community that syncretizes artistic, scientific and situated, traditional ecological knowledge/s through a shared affinity to spider/webs. Arachnophilia emerged from artist Tomás Saraceno’s more than 15 year-long collaboration with humans, spiders and their webs.
