The Forum, which takes place as part of the Treffen junger Autor*innen, is aimed at educators, writing workshop facilitators, and youth workers. In addition to providing an opportunity for collegial exchange, it offers practical training focused on various aspects of creative/literary writing in schools, writing workshops, and cultural youth education.
The Forum is held in German only.

In a one-day workshop, we will look at the ideas and materials that can be used to create audio pieces, the different genres and formats that exist, and how to get started with creative design without a lot of technology or prior knowledge. We will listen to various examples together and come up with our own ideas for short audio pieces. We will try our hand at writing, planning, and recording in small groups and get an overview of the various tasks involved. Together, we will look at free editing programs and learn the basics of sound design.
If you wish, you are welcome to bring your own laptop and headphones and, if necessary, a recording device. A smartphone can also be used as a recording device. However, we will also have equipment on site that we can work with.
