The Walther König Bookshop has grown together with and is an integral part of the Gropius Bau. From the start of the 2019 exhibition season, König presents its books, postcards, prints and selection of art shop items in a completely redesigned bookshop space. As ever, at the heart of the König’s activities are the books – international exhibition catalogues on art, photography, architecture and fashion, alongside international contemporary discourse. The new bookshop design offers the possibility of expanding into the atrium, as well as providing space for readings and discussions.
